What a dMAT mock test should do
The dMAT is a timed reasoning exam with no notes and no calculator, and the on-screen instructions are short. A useful mock therefore has to copy three things: the task rules, the clock and the no-tools condition. Reading about the test is not the same as sitting one.
The 20 mock tests on DMATBLAZE
| Stage | What it trains |
|---|---|
| Foundation mocks | One task type at a time, gentle timing, every answer explained |
| Accuracy mocks | Mixed Core items where careless errors cost you, with a mistake label for each miss |
| Speed mocks | Official Core timing: 25 minutes for 20 items, so about 75 seconds each |
| Full simulations | Core Module plus General Academic Module end to end, in exam conditions |
| Sprint and pressure tests | Single task type sprints, and a pressure test with negative marking to build care |
Every mock has a question palette, mark for review, per-question timing and a full review screen. Your mistakes are collected in a notebook so you can revise what you actually get wrong.
How to use mock tests in your last week
- Take Mock Test 1 free to see where you stand.
- Fix rules first: a missed rule costs more marks than slow arithmetic.
- Do short timed blocks of a single task type, not long unfocused sessions.
- Take one full simulation in exam conditions: no notes, no calculator, no pausing.
- In the final two days, revise the shortcut sheets instead of learning new material.

These are DMATBLAZE practice tests written to the publicly documented dMAT format. They are not official or leaked exam papers, and a score here is a practice indicator, not a dMAT result.
Common questions
Is there a free dMAT mock test?
Yes. Mock Test 1 on DMATBLAZE is free, with no card and no account needed, and every question has a full explanation.
How many dMAT mock tests do I need?
Quality matters more than number. Learn the rules for each task type, then take a few timed mocks and review every mistake. DMATBLAZE includes 20 mocks so you can build from single task types to full simulations.
Do the mock tests use official dMAT questions?
No. They are written by DMATBLAZE to the publicly documented format. No official or leaked exam content is used.
How long is each Core Module subtest?
The official materials state 25 minutes for 20 items for Figure Sequences and for Latin Squares. The task count and time for Mathematical Equations are not confirmed in the public preparation PDFs.
